Fairness no such thing?
The adage the squeaking wheel gets the oil is true. This permeates all aspects of life personal, national or global. On most issues, the majority of people do not invite discord into their lives unless it affects them personally.
The common man is so involved in providing for a family, attempting to eke out a living, paying taxes, insurance, medical expenses it is asinine to suggest that they become an informed voter by spending hours studying political issues and the numerous so-called incumbents and candidates who live and breathe and are immersed in politics daily as a profession. Who among these politicians is telling the truth is anyone's guess.
These are the men who enact laws under the guise of rights proliferating in the legal system to placate sections of society which encroach on other citizen's rights and adding to the socialistic trend being enforced by the government. The repeated lessons that destroyed past civilizations are ignored by current civilizations.
With the separation and separate purposes of executive, legislative and judicial branches, where does the Constitution give the government branches the right to infiltrate and dictate private lives?
There are duplications of many existing laws to include specific parties individually. Rights are still addressed into laws by our legislators because of loud and vocal outcries, destructive marches as well as demonstrations reminiscent of union members' objections and demands, lobbyists and monied factions. No matter the issue, there are always two sides to contend with, the pros and the cons. Who is right depends on the side of the person who is affected and the requirements of their personal situation without regard to the needs of other parties. A decision either way always violates someone else's rights. - Gays, blacks, taxation, women, language, abortion, criminals, smoking, so on and so on.
These differences should be directed to and settled by the individuals involved, churches or arbitration not the government..
To cite a few - abortions pros vs cons why is the government issuing laws, an interference of privacy and abuse the Constitution's code separating church and government? It seems it should be an issue between the woman, her beliefs, her moral conscience and her church. Anti-abortionists argue it is murder, Abortionists argue it is the woman's rights. If a Right of Life supporter is so ardent, why not charge them with the responsibility for a transfer of the unwanted
