Poetry: Separation

by Eoanna Petropoulacos

Created on: November 08, 2008

Where did you go? Breaking the chains of the lily bag,

petals kissing the ground. Why did you leave? Skeleton

winds blowing. Parched river bed, phantom boaters rowing.

Etching my brain with stones and needles. I fall if you don't

miss me. Give me your hand. I fall when you don't miss me.

Where did you go? Scattered on dream graves, broken bone

beds, my calls don't reach you. You don't hear them at all.
