Story of love
-
At the young age of eleven
My reason for living was gone
I was experiencing such pain
The sort I had never known
I had lost my loving mother
My father had lost his wife
Our hearts were so broken
I prayed God to take my life
With the passing of the years
hurting times became the past
I found that special person
Now I can love again at last
While spending lives together
A family we hope to raise
For this gift oh Loving God
I will give eternal praise

People fall in love and get married,
They are happy and every day is good.
Time is filled with tender affection,
Life is going well just like it should.
Then its time to buy their first home,
And their love brings forth a child.
They are now part of the main stream,
Life is good and goes well for awhile.
But then comes job losses and worries,
Just getting by is a struggle every day.
It becomes difficult to be affectionate,
With so many bills and so little pay.
Even after their situation improves,
Memories of the difficult times live on,
They often end up hurt and separated,
With love they once shared almost gone.
So read often this poem of love and life.
Respect its message and remember it good.
Show love and affection every single day,
And life will go well just like it should.

I was was a young man in the army,
stationed in an occupied country,
I met and fell in love with a lady, who
had escaped from the Eastern block.
She was beautiful young and brave,
I wanted to bring her home with me,
but it was an almost impossible task,
during those days of occupation.
But my love for her was very strong,
I suppose my German ancestory,
dating back some 200 years or more,
made me stubborn enough to try.
Well my stubborness succeeded,and
and I managed to bring my love home,
the early years of our marriage without
much money were lean to say the least.
But we remained together, and oh how
sweet those memories are,our love
burned like a hot blaze, and as I write
this,45 years later we're still together.

LOVE IS NOT JUST GOOD SEX,
ITS MANY THINGS TO US ALL.
EXPERIENCED BY EVERYONE,
YOUNG,OLD,SHORT AND TALL.
ITS A WONDERFUL FEELING,
THAT AFFECTS BODY AND MIND.
YOU WANT TO BE TOGETHER,
PROTECTIVE AND KIND.
LOVE IS EXPERIENCED BY PEOPLE,
THE BIRDS AND ANIMALS AS WELL.
TO FEED AND RAISE OUR YOUNG,
WE'LL GO THROUGH LIVING HELL.
LOVE IS A GIFT AND RESPONSIBILITY,
BESTOWED ON US FROM BIRTH.
SO LOVE WILL LAST AS LONG,
AS THERES LIFE ON EARTH.

I often am so very lonely
as on this earth I walk
Looking for a special friend
to whom I may safely talk
I often dream of the wind
my thoughts upon its wings
Taking me around the world
as I accomplish many things
I often fail to ascertain
what some might call success
But within these lovely dreams
I have found some happiness
I often wonder where I'm going
yet remembering where I've been
Knowing truely in my heart
I would dream there again

Life has changed I'm retired
No more lay offs or getting fired
I have begun life's final mile
Living my retirement with a smile
My working years are now past
I'm free I tell you I'm free at last
No more saving for a rainey day
No more boses to hear what I say
My time is layed back and slow
Enjoying life with people I know
Some days I experience a little pain
Might even have to use my cane
Enjoying the golden years every day
I have a truck to drive and bingo to play
No more going to work in the cold
I'm plenty busy just growing old

Forever with love
