An angel sat on the roofs of the city. It was supposed to be her day off and now she's here with watch duty while that guardian goes to fight some war and not mess with fate. It was also a Saturday, she had a few chores, even angels can't be lazy, and she only had laundry to do...so it was going to be some boring chore anyway. The angel sighed flapping her transparent wings through the air. Too bad those humans have laundry day too. Especially the cheaters. Yeah, definitely the cheaters...here they come.
"What the - do you mean you're breaking up with me?! Isn't my love enough? I wash the dishes, I quit my job, and I even did your CLOTHES. So, why? Why Jacob?" A short lady with curly brown hair looked pleadingly at the man. He was what, what's that word...hot. With wavy gold hair and high cheekbones, he looked down coldly at the woman.
"Let's face it, babe. We're not meant to be...Thanks for the laundry, though. I could look extra hot for Carmen...oops. babe?" He backed off slowly as the girl trembled. She trembled so much that if I didn't know any better, I would have thought she was having an attack or something. She is definitely not going to work it out.
The angel gave a soft whistle that was but a whisper in the wind and said, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, Jacob. Oh boy..."
Slowly, the lady looked up again and gave the most ferocious glare that the lion would whimper. The idiot tried to laugh it off, "Heh. Heh. It wasn't me, Carmen. Wait it was...A man has needs, you know? Lisa...Come on Lisa, you'll move on. Lisa?"
She laughed and started to smile as if the sun itself shone in it. "I understand, Jay-Jay. But you know...A girl has needs too, you know?" She punched his smooth little face in and swore it out. "You think I'm a little maid?! Well clean THAT jerk!" She then ran away from the street. The angel followed.
After a few blocks, Lisa ran up the stairs into a small apartment block with fading brick walls and fire escapes. The angel sighed, she better go. Duty calls. Maybe give her a conscious thought when the lady's not crazy mad as a bull with red. For now, she could only watch. She thought about this as she flew through the walls, invisible to the mortal eye. When she got there, the lady was pulling up a welcome mat.
"The stupid jerk. What an idiot! He left the key under the mat anyway. Well, can't say I didn't warn him..." She smirked evilly as she slam opened the door. "Jacob, meet your worst nightmare. Your girl will have fun tonight,
