The election is over, but is Sarah Pallin over? Not a chance! Of course she will now go home and take time to recoup with her family and friends by her side, but that does not mean she will be licking her wounds. She will not be a scape goat for those McCain advisers who know fully well where the blame lies but are still holding on to the shreds of thier careers. Rather, she will be gathering strength for what is yet to come. The harder the fall the bigger the come back.
Sarah Pallin was thrown into a situation that would have daunted most of us, yet she stood strong and never backed down from her beliefs. She was a woman taken from her bunny hill ski slopes where she worked well with others and learned as she skied to being thrown down a black diamond slope. Here she hit rocks, trees, and steep edges along the way. But no matter how hard or unprepared for this slope she was, she never gave up. She never went over the ledge. That is true strength.
We claim as a society that we want someone like us, a real person, someone we can relate to, but when we get just that we criticise them. How many of us could be able to stand up under the relentless barrage of criticisms from the Media and the Democratic campaign? We should look deep and honestly ask ourselves this. This is the first lesson Sarah Pallin probably learned and the first place she will start. She now has four years to work and strengthen her political standing and knowledge. Her only weakness this past year was experience, and now she has earned that political experience the hard way. The Democrats have given her the best gift she could ever want. They gave her time. She will use that time wisely and they had better watch out.
She is a woman with a drive like we have never seen. A woman who does not let anyone tell her what she can or cannot do. She does not need to ride on the coat tails of her husband like Hilary Clinton. She is making her own way and has much more of a story to write. As much as the liberal media would like us to believe that the entire country feels like they do, they are sadly mistaken. Sometimes it seems that the media is the High School Jock that bullies the rest of the country into silence because they are too scared to stand out. Well, Sarah Pallin refuses to back down from these bullies and will show them what real back bone looks like.
The Democrats had better start preparing right now for what is to come.
