LAST OF THE GODODDIN
One year Din Eidyn, we did feast
Hopes to stop, approaching beast
To fight, for love to be
Safe in our hands, held free
And to win, one language true
That which was borne of you
Hear the song of wandering Maygar
Bourne of Uther, thro' Mathuthavar
Again Aneirin, jingling bard
Now let go your hearts, of ships hard
To die, with ancient secret kept
She of beauty, brave heart wept
Earthen goddess, one of seven
Truest warrior forged in Heaven
Now upon this battle field
Two of 300 left to yield
Stand together this final day
Foes bear down, upon them
Tenfold, by every way
Borne to fight and die
For each other, now they lie
Bloodied and weary at Catraeth
Hand in hand, our last embrace
Oh, as one
Down thrusts the Saxon blade
Thro' two hearts, now dragon made
Unleashed to protect his love
Now he carries her above
Far away from this plane
Keeping safe, to love again
Gently tending warrior's bow
Urging love and lifeblood flow
Holding sacred Queen alive
Feeding, for her love to thrive
Oh, eyes and touch of richest Earth
Borne to give finest warriors birth
Strong in battle in painted blue
Now you see 'tis always you
You of eternal beauty taste
Oh, to devour not in haste
Angel, do not fear love here
Open now, let go your tear
'Tis of a thousand warriors see
All in one, that is me
I hold you now for I am dove
Safe again, my arms
One love

MY MUM
You gave birth to me,
then you watched me grow,
sent me to school,
and taught me what I needed to
