Like a ship at sea in a violent storm
I feel lost, beaten and battered
No way to stop the onslaught of damage
In a place where nothing else mattered
I rise and I fall..... I'm defeated
As the waves once more toss me around
I'm lost with no compass.....direction
Needing to head once more homeward bound
Not sure how much more of this water
I can safely once more take on in
Without completely sinking forever
I toss.... I turn........ and I spin
Home now is but just a memory
A shore I'm not sure I will reach
They'll find me one day I am sure
Broken and washed up on some far away beach
