Remember when your little black dress was the sexiest thing you owned? Well, that has changed and these days it's all about the colors. Almost every where you go, people are seemingly packing their outfits with as much color as possible. In case you were wondering, this isn't such a bad thing and it shouldn't intimidate you. Don't you feel better when you're wearing your favorite color, and wearing it well? Why shouldn't you? For those of you who are more on the cautious side of fashion, you can bring any outfit to life with a brightly colored accessory or two.

'Color blocking' is one rather new trend that's hit the fashion world; taking solid colors you might not normally blend together and doing just that. The designs can range from just two neutral colors on something as simple as a cocktail dress to many bright colors on a clutch handbag. Sunglasses and bathing suits have also been getting splashed by color blocking. It's a cute style that's been catching on fast and is bound to stay for awhile.
As we all know, particularly we women, shoes can make any outfit spectacular. So it's really no surprise that shoes have also been getting brighter and more chromatic. There's many ways to pair your flashy shoes with whatever you're wearing. You can try my personal favorite style, matching a bright pair of shoes with dark, black if you want, material. You can also try keeping the outfit and footwear the same color. Either works and both can look great.
When it comes to accessories, why stop at shoes? Earrings, necklaces and bracelets can all be beautiful, bright choices. At the moment in the fashion world, people are going for the bigger and brighter pieces. It would appear that the bulkier, the better. If you don't like to go too over the top with jewelery, just a couple strings of bright beads can be all you need. If you're up to the challenge, add matching vivid earrings and rings to your outfit.
From the models on the runways to the every day people on the streets in the biggest fashion cities, as in New York City and France, people are putting together the most vibrant outfits. Designers like Valentino and Pucci are going crazy with hues. If you want to join in on the fun of mixing and matching colors, all you really have to do is dig deep into the depths of your closet and find those colors you've always been too shy to show off. And remember to have fun with it!
