Does walking really help induce labor?

Well I will start by saying that every women is different but as for me and my experience I will say that It helps and it helps lot, and if you do it in your last 4 weeks it's better, I also have some friends that had the same experience. The baby will be in it's best position all the way down just what any pregnant women needs, these will make your labor time shorter. My mom always says that the more exercise you do the better for your health and the babies too. I'm pregnant with my 5th baby he is due on Dec 4th and I being walking since I was 5 months and I fell great I have a lot of energy I do not get tired and on my other pregnancies I have done the same thing and every time everything goes as gentle ans smooth as it can get, and I think is because all the walking that I do in every pregnancy. Walking and drinking a lot of water is just a great combination. When I fist became pregnant with my first baby I asked several members of my family and some of my friends to get a better idea if it was really true that walking help induce labor and I have different opinions and one day my mom told me that to get a better answer I needed to try my self because every women is different, and I did what she told me I tried and it worked just fine, the day before I had my daughter I walked even more because I started having contractions and my mom told me to walk as much as possible I had my baby the next day I went into labor around 12:00pm and my baby was born just 15 minutes later no complications at all. The rest of my pregnancies was the same thing I had my kids within 35 minutes of going into labor. Some of my friends had told me that they have a better experience when they had walked than when they haven't they have told me that they took much longer to go into labor than when they walked. I really recommend that pregnant women should walk at least 15 minutes every day they will have better health and lots of energies during the pregnancy and will go into labor a lot faster. At some hospitals they will make you walk to induce labor, it's kind of hard to walk when you are in pain but you will not regret that walk after everything is over and you have your baby in your hands. If you are pregnant again and didn't try walking on your last one I will ask you to walk this time and expirience it your self and you will notice a lot of difference, well every pregnancy is different but at the time of labor evrything will be faster and easier for you and the baby.
