It was then that she said to me
"I'm in love with you."
And it was then
that I felt my heart crack.
But a cracking of pain?
Or a stretching for more?
I wonder if I can love you back.
It was then that she leaned forward
Took my chin in her hand
And she kissed me
as if the world was ending.
Am I horrified?
Or am I loving back?
I wonder if my rigid heart is bending.
It was then that she stopped
Looked me deep in the eyes
And she whispered,
"If you'd rather, I'll stop now."
Am I hating what you are?
Or is my heart bending for you?
I think I'd love you if I knew how.
It was then that I faintly smiled
and took a deep breath,
And put my hand
To her lovely cheek.
Is this really what I want?
Do I know how to love?
I think I'm trying to forget that I'm weak.
It was then that I moved
Into something very big
And as I kissed her
I knew my world had changed.
Am I a different person?
Have I forgotten to be weak?
I know that now my life is rearranged.

You have to see the world through rainbow colored glasses,
My mother once said to me,
Because if you don’t, the world

Forsaken
You have forsaken me, I who have loved you.
But you will never admit to it.
You just say: 'I'm busy' when I phone
Some think it's by choice
they don't understand.
What do they think,
that I chose to like men?
Should I be straight
should
Dear Homophobia,
Come a little closer
Let me whisper in your ear
Let me tell you something
That I want you to hear
Protest me
You can't call him 'Gay'
He was left by the roadside
Battered and afraid
Born homosexual
Not a choice that he made
Ripped
