All is lost
Nought is kept
Beggar no more
The last penny spent
Was but a fleeting passion
And light returns
Forever more
Darkness is but a dream
This life...
This light...
Why is it that
While we have it we're poorer
(for sure more miserable)
And when we lose it
It all seems to ease the pain
Bur for only a moment
Until love
Or life itself
Urges us
To seek
Another connection
And we dream yet again

Lost dreams
Fall out
Of a pocket
In the roads
Of living a life

Not all make
It rich

I lost my dreams

My thoughts linger on the notion she was but
by Leigh Goessl

A life full of vibrant dreams
Each day longed for the future
Reality's not what it seems
Long arduous
