SONG YESTERDAY (title)
FIRST CHORUS
Yesterday,
I saw your face for one last time,
you left to go, only for a little while,
I knew you would come with roses,
A new camera for our daughter's poses,
but, you turn the curve to hard,
you crashed into that ol' red barn,
they tried to save you,
but death was your fate,
that was the last time baby,
I saw your face,
but it was to late,
death made his fate,
that was the last time,
that I a remember your face.
CHORUS
Sometimes God takes away,
loved ones without a trace,
but I'll keep holding on,
to that last time that I saw your face.
I feel your love even though your far away,
God gives a little to when we're in a hard place,
Miracles still happen I believe,
I still love you my darlin,
though you had to leave,
I'll see you again at heaven's doors,
then my crying will be no more.
SECOND VERSE
Yesterday
I saw your face for the first time,
you left to go, for only a little while,
I knew you would come with roses,
and a new tissue for you sniffling noses,
but, you were an hour late coming back,
you turn the corner with the nurse's smile,
for a one twin boy made it through,
while your sister met your daddy at the gate,
death made her fate,
that was the last time I remember her face.
CHORUS
Sometimes God takes away,
loved ones without a trace,
but I'll keep holding on,
to that last time that I saw your face.
I feel your love even though your far away,
God gives a little to when we're in a hard place,
Miracles still happen I believe,
I still love you my darlin,
though you had to leave,
I'll see you again at heaven's doors,
then my crying will be no more.
We'll see you and Daddy again when heaven opens her doors.....
