Necessary Peace
I've forgiven the dreams
That never came true,
The summer skies
That were never blue,
The stars that fell
Beyond my reach
And all the promises
I didn't keep
and
the love that
Was never mine.
I've forgotten the lessons
That went unlearned,
The roads I took
That never turned,
The memories I
Never made
And childhood joys
That died with age
And
Tears that never
Came.
