Twilight

At twilight
The stars touch the world
Their light shining
Accomplishing the dreams
That Earth has longed for

I wish my dreams
Were next on my little stars list
It's not that simple
But I wish for it every night

I want to feel the world
Drop from under my feet
To feel my heart fly like the wind
To feel chained upside down
Like Cassiopeia
Who circles the world on her thrown

I want to be free
From any longing my heart wants
But my heart does long
For many a thing

I want the rush of excitement
Yet the Kingdoms of Heaven
Haven't granted it
They feel that humans
Are untrustworthy creatures

I have no doubt that this is true
And yet still I wish

At twilight
The stars touch the world
Their light shining
Accomplishing the dreams
The Earth has longed for
Maybe I shall be next...
