I love Valentine's Day. I have been married for only 8 years but I am still Wow ing her. Here are a few suggestions for Valentine's..not just Valentine's you can do these any time.

1. Make her a giant Valentine's card out of a cardboaurd box, and write a poem of a love letter on the inside.

2. If your wife has to work, like mine, on valentine's day, writer her a poem of love letter in code,

J MPWF ZPV EJBOF, IBQQZ WBNFMUJMF't EBZ
(I Love you Diane, Happy Valentine's Day) Just replace the letter with the letter in the alphebet dirrectly after it A to B, and B to C ect.

3. If you are going to get flowers for her, which is always good, find other times of the year to give her roses, NOT on Valentines, get creative and buy her a dozen flowers that begin with the first letter of her naem, she'll be suprized that you actually put time and effort- or research into it.

3. Cut out several (20 or so) strange and crazy personals. Example - Male seeking, sexy female, with job, no kids but desire to take care of several on mine, loves rough threesome and animals my be invlved. - This is an exagreated example but you kow what would make her blush. Cut them out, and pasite them to a homemade card, inside write something like, 'With all the 'quality' options out there, I think we both agree you made the right choice. I love you.'

4. Instead of taking her out to dinner, order takeout from her favorite resturant (Itailian is always romanitc), set the table with red table cloth, candles in the middle and the 'name flowers' present. Put the meal on your best plates, have a bottle of champange in a bucket of ice on the table, if you don't drink, like us, sparkling grape juice works fine.

My wife works later than I do, so I can pick this stuff up and put it in the oven before she gets home, I then tell her that I have something special after her shower, while she's in the shower I set everything up and wait to set her at the table before I bring the take out from the oven.

5. If you get off after her, and can not do the above try this. Record a video message (ahead of time). Put a red ribbon around it and put it on the kitchen table so she sees it when she ges home, with the little note "Watch this now". On the video tell her where and what time to meet you at a romantic resturnat. Have the flowers and meal set so that when see arrives it is already to enjoy. Wear someting formal, and tell her to dress nice.

6. If you both have the day off or can take it off, take advantange of that and watch her favorite romantic movies all day.

7. Wake her up with blueberry panckaes and put in a movie like "One Fine Day" and cuddle with her.

A few last goodies-
If you can get the day off, you do not have to let her know. This can give you a great chance to set up your evening romantic plans for her.

Do not read the newspaper today, no television-unless it's part in the context of cuddling. Change your voicemail to say that you will be unavailible until the next morning. If you know she will call you, have the message say...sorry, I'm unavailable today, because I am busy romancing my wife. Friends will think it's goofy, but she will love it, and that it all that matters.

Have fun, make it all about her, and she'll take care of making you happy later.
