Falling Star
If the last ever star
In the sky were to fall,
Whose wish would it grant,
If it granted one at all?
Whose whim would it follow?
Whose life would it change?
Would the wish be something simple,
Or something weird and strange?
Perhaps the star would wish
For something it's heart longed for:
To never again be the last
Ever star in the sky any more.
