With today's unpredictable gas prices it is as important to budget gas mileage as it is to budget bank accounts. Isn't that the same thing? Exactly! Cars and the gas they use are a science. It takes logical thinking and imagination, but you can survive any gas gouging by intelligent gas saving habits. Instead of paying brutal amounts of money for a Hybrid vehicle, you could just change the way you treat your current car's gas tank. Here are sixteen ways to save Gas and money without that Hybrid:

Learn how to drive: The less you press that gas petal, the better. Learn how to cost while climbing a hill rather than while going down one.

No Idling: Turn the car off when stopped for long periods of time. If you are cold or warm, wear the proper clothing.

Stay In During Nasty Weather: Baseball has to postpone to reduce weather effects on their game-play. It is the same with vehicles. If you avoid storms, you will save money because your car works harder to crash through those big puddles.

No Fancy Boats: A lot of people are fans of the big Cadillac and luxury cars that are the size of boats. This is a bad idea especially if you arelow in money. Even if you replace your filter, the true Gas mileage of your big boat car will decrease with its age and value.

Lowest Price in Town: Go to websites that tell you what exact Gas Station has the lowest prices. They will usually give you directions too. Just search exactly this in Google: Type in the search, "Cheapest Gas, (City, State)" Just put in your city and states name where it says City or State.

Stay the speed limit: No more and not really a lot less either. Just go a comfortable pace.Air: Put air in your tires and keep them up to date.Cruise Along: Use cruise control whenever possible.Reduce Weight: This is not just for racing, but to help you save Gas.

Reduce Drag: Roll windows up, turn AC down, everybody wins.Save Time: Put all of your errands together in one trip. When you get home, stay home.

Don't Ride the Breaks: Enough said.Patience: Don't pass anyone; it costs more to downshift just to pass people.Plan your Route: Avoid getting lost, traffic, and traffic lights. Though not always possible avoid Cities too.

Use the Correct Fuel Grade: You are wasting money by picking the lowest grade. Your car's proper gas type will go down a lot slower than the cheapest gas.

Walk: Do you really need the car to get to the mailbox?

As you can see, there are many things to consider and practice and save money on gas. These tips are possible for most vehicle types and you don't need to buy a hybrid. Go and enjoy whatever vehicle you want, guilt free.
