Imaginary Thoughts

Wishing and wanting to be in your arms,

Dreaming of the days love between us was real.

My eyes fall to the vision of your deceitfulness,

in unsurpassed anger.

Wondering where you are,

in hopes that doubtfulness will not prevail.

My heart believes in love.

But-

From where we sit, love is blind.

For the hurting pain has grown strong within my heart.

Yet, I endure it.

The pain keeps me miserable for days.

Yet, I endure it.

Deceit and degradation.

The days we loved are all gone by.

Memories lost.

Dreams forgotten.

Hopes spared.

For our love was made of glass,

fragile and transparent,

And has shattered into one million pieces.

Trying to mend together

-Again.
