Poetry: Don't leave me

by Amy Weins 1976

Created on: November 03, 2008

So many tears I have cried. To much believing in all of your lies.

An ache in my heart every time you went away. How I wanted to cry out, "Know, wait, please stay."

Instead my eyes would fill with tears, again you left me alone with fear.

Fear that's deep with in my being, thoughts of being alone is all I keep seeing.

wishing you would simply come home. To erase the thoughts of being alone.

A marriage is not what you wanted from me. Three kids and 10 years, how can this be?

Is it so hard for you in this life, to dedicate your heart and have me as your wife?

Your answer I get loud and clear. This is the reason you are no longer here.

.What can I do, you want it this way. There is not much more that I can say.
