Cradled in the arms of Mother.
Little one,
I live for you, and only you.
For you,
I will cherish every breath
that passes our lips,
every beat of our hearts
that pounds the chest.
For you,
I will polish the stars
to lighten your darkest night,
ask the Moon to greet you.
I will tell the birds to sing softly
to fill your soul with melody,
and ask the Sun to warm you.
For you, my little one,
I give my world,
from now, with every passing breath
for as long as I live,
trust me to protect, guide and love you.
For you, little one.
