I have disgraced you
by knocking too loud on your door
let it be known I was misbehaving
I needed attention
in the town I was from
kicked out for non believing
I was sent home grieving
for shame was I to write a piece
I scream I scream for peace
I want to let you know that I love you
and am guilty for my crime
I wrote against thee in the spirit of the mind
but after all I still am alive
