There are lots of things that can attract a younger man to an older woman. First of all, with the emphasis our society has on fitness and appearance it is not that difficult for a woman even in her forties to still be physically attractive to a man in his twenties. Yes, it does take more work for a woman to stay hot when she's forty than it does when she was twenty, but the fact that she puts in all that work makes her more attractive. I am a young man and I do not put that much work into my appearance, outside of working physically demanding jobs. The fact that a woman puts so much time and energy into looking pretty strikes me as being very feminine and very attractive. It shows that she wants me to look at her and notice that she looks good.

Aside from that, older women are usually much more aware of what men really want than their younger counterparts. It is true that not every man wants exactly the same things, but there are a few basics that women seem to have down by the time they reach their thirties. I have definitely noticed that on the whole older women are much less clingy and more comfortable with giving me my time to myself. Older women also have more life experience and tend to me more interesting in conversation than younger women. Young men feel less pressure to be the one paying for everything when they are with a woman who is older and has the ability to pay her own way if he wants her to and are also less worried that an older woman will be likely to get attached to them too quickly or take everything they say personally. A little sexual experience never hurt anybody, either.

My experiences with older women have been for the most part very rewarding. I will say that I am not looking to find someone who is wife material or even really long-term girlfriend material. When I am older and have my life together more I will be looking for that, and I will probably want a younger woman for that. That being said, I can usually be sure that an older woman is not really looking for those things in me either. If an attractive woman in her thirties or forties wanted status and financial security she would not even be interested in me. She may just want someone good looking who she can have some fun with and who lets her know that she is still sexually attractive, and that is just fine for me. I have no problem making a woman feel good when I know that she can and will make me feel good in return.
