Working, working, need a break
Eyes are droopy, body aching
Think a little nap is what I will take
Fuzzy logic in fuzzy brain
Let me rest for just a while
So I can be refreshed again
AH! Yes, this feels good
The couch and I are one
Just like with kids, take a nap we should
Drifting off fast, oblivious to all
My body rest and my brain recharges
Succumbing to dreams I dont recall
Suddenly I awaken to a horrible sound
I sit up with a start; the damn phone is ringing
Realizing nap time is over, I shake my head and look around
Reluctantly getting up, seeing what I left undone
Back to work I go, but now feel better
Yes, a nap is what I needed to get me back on the run

What is a nap?

Eyes closed
Briefly
At my desk
Head nodding
In a meeting

I've got a lot to do today
I've got to mow the lawn
Just the very thought of work
Gives cause to make me to yawn
The garden
