"Trials and Tribulations of the Common Flea"
Do you believe in reincarnation?
In this life I'm a flea
It's just not fair that cats and dogs
Bite and claw at me
Owners drizzle me with powder
And my hosts roll 'round in mud
Everybody hates me!
They must think I'm out for blood!
Can I retract that statement?
All I want's a little sip
And for that they want to kill me?
This really is a rip!
Maybe in my next life
I'll get the whole thing right
Ane be higher on the food chain-
Not some stupid parasite!

Poetry: Parasites
Burrowing quickly
into my skin
I know what you want
I know where you've been.
Starving for food
and needed attention
You contaminate
Twisting and turning
Swimming and squirming
Burrowing and burning
Eating into your brain
Driving you to madness
Delusions, insanity
Out of every orifice
And into every creed
There crawled a rotten maggot
Who wanted us to bleed.
In every darkened crevice
Of
Parsing the modules of retro
Activity, the backwards feeding
Rabid personalities, more fuel, more you
Against this fraying
