Long known for its hot nightlife, you'll find a wide variety of fun and exciting things to do in downtown Atlanta. With its smoothly blended mix of architecture, culture and life styles there is something for every interest from sports to high art.

*PARKS AND ATTRACTIONS*

1-Georgia Aquarium

Book a spend-the-night party at Georgia Aquarium where eight million gallons of fresh and marine water are home to the sea life of the world. From the tiny iridescent fish of the deep sea to the gigantic but gentle whale sharks, you'll be awed as never before.

2-Centennial Olympic Park

The main feature is the world famous Fountain of Rings which have both lights and jets of water synchronized with music. During the summer, you can catch a popular music concert On the Bricks, which is made up of engraved bricks paid for by those who wished to help build the Olympic Park. In the winter, enjoy ice-skating.

3-Underground Atlanta

Not only the hot spot for shopping, dining and nightlife, it's filled with historical architectural features such as decorative brickwork, granite archways, marble, cast-iron support columns, hand-carved wooden posts and gas streetlamps. At the entrance to Underground Atlanta stands The Georgia Railroad Freight Depot, the oldest building in Atlanta.

*ARTS AND HAPPENINGS*

1-Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Not only known for what grows here, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens is also renown for its art displays, events and exhibits, the most famous being the glass art of Chihuly. In the summer, enjoy Cocktails in Garden each Thursday, which pairs a mixed drink with a featured flower.

2-High Museum of Art

Come and see the fantastic, excellent art collection or enjoy Jazz on the third Friday of each month as you sip a martini. There is always something happening at the Atlanta High Museum of Art. Coming in November 2008 is the exhibit "The First Emperor-China's Terracotta Army"

3-Turner Art Walks

The first Thursday of each month offers the Turner Art Walk through Downtown's galleries, which feature the work of Atlanta artists. Many galleries also provide beverages, food, live music, or a combination.

*MUSEUMS*

1-Fernbank Museum of Natural History

Not just another museum, Fernbank is a journey to another time and place. Far back to the time of dinosaurs, back to a time when Georgia was a wilderness. Come and explore the cultural treasures of the world, ancient fossils and much more. The IMAX theater is a must see and so are the interactive displays.

2-World of Coca Cola
