Prayer for Redemption

My Lord and Maker, witness
your unworthy subject before you
Who surely do not deserve Heaven's light
Not in this world or the next

Oh You Who Rules The Skies and Beyond
Bear witness to your agrieved subject
Who would tremble before the Fires of Hell
Would weep not for pain but for the pain he has caused

Oh Lord, the One, the Only
Grant mercy on my soul
Forgive all my sins, but make me not forget
What I took from others, lest I should regress

For only You are the All Forgiving, the Most Merciful
You are the Eternal Lover of All Creation
And You Remember all
And now I ask, unworthy as I am
For You, the All Knowing
To Know my heart of hearts
And to accord me justly
What I rightly deserve
For no judge is as Just as You

My Lord and Maker, witness

But show me the path, oh Lord
So that I may follow it,
Follow You back home
