The role of religion in teen life

Children have lost their faith in religion. Many spiritual leaders have fallen derelict in their duties as leaders of the church. They have stolen from the parishioners and practiced sexual abuse with teen members, yet, still preach to them from the pulpit about the things they themselves are doing. It is confusing to the children, they have lost their confidence, you say one thing, but do another. To that end, we have a world of lost, mixed up children. Where do they turn, what is the answer?

The answer comes from the Bible which was written by man, under inspiration of The One and Only True God, Jehovah. There is one Bible, but many religions, therefore, one must read and study the Biblle in order to find out the true religion. The scriptures says there is one Lord and One Faith. Love is the dominate quality of the true faith. Does your religion love you and sexually abuse you at the same time. Certainly not.

A teens mind is fresh. It is not filled with years and years of religion, as an adults mind is. If they have an open mind and are willing to accept the truth when it is presented to them, then religion will have a positive effect and will play an important role in their life. It teaches them values and how to look to the future with confidence.

Youth is a time of challenge. As you probably realize, the road of life today has plenty of rough spots and it takes courage to face them. But if you learn early how to overcome the rough spots, then the rest of the road becomes far smoother for you. Each time you win out over a problem your confidence will grow.

How much better it is to face the challenge of youth than to let the rough spots, sidetrack you. Of course, it would be easy just to dream or to kid yourself that life is different from what it really is. But sooner or later those who do that are sure to run into hard reality. It could then be very difficult to recover and move ahead. Valuable time would be lost because, as the saying goes, you are a teen only once. Now is the time to look to the future with confidence.

To get the best out of your youth, confidence plays a big part. Yor can't really be happy or make good progress without confidence in what lay ahead. Some young people feel that, with the way things on earth are being ruined, there isn't much of a future for them, and it may appear so. Yet, there are a lot of things that people don't talk about so much, but that give us reason to look forward to the future with confidence. Read the Bible, ask questions if you don't understand. If you don't get the right answers keep asking until you do. You will learn for yourself how reasonable and realistic the Bible is.
