~ - ~ Price ~ - ~
I believe I paid around 100 for my Razr, back in February and it was part of an offer in The Link where the price was dependant on me buying 30 of pay as you go credit. Mine is on the O2 network.
The price is similar now, and cheaper handsets can be found on eBay usually. Different colours have become available since I purchased mine, although I would probably have still chosen the same dark blue color. There are also several different versions of the Razr out now, I like this one!
~ - ~ Charging and battery life ~ - ~
The battery life of the phone is okay. It has a long standby time, but once I start using it repetitively the battery drops quickly. I find that it takes a long while to go from three bars (full) to two bars (half) but then drops very fast through the last two bars. There is also another feature that rates the remaining battery life on a level of one through six, which does seem to be more accurate than the battery bars. By 'repetitively' I mean on evening of continuous texting and the phone can go from full to almost critical.
The Razr phone can be charged via the mini USB socket, connected to a computer. I recently went on a trip and was going to rely on this feature. I didn't find out until it was too late, that you have to be able to turn the phone on for it to charge from the computer. So once the battery is dead, it's too late. I ended up having to buy an in-car charger so I could charge my Razr while from dead.
According to some statistics I just read, the Razr V3 has up to 6.67 hours of digital talk time, and up to 250 hours of digital standby time. This is probably accurate to my phone still, and I have been using
