Are modern Muslim fatwas (religious orders issued by leaders of Islam) fuelling Islamic extremism?

If a Fatwa is about inciting hatred and violence against anyone, including their own brothers as well as us infidels, absolutely! But what is behind the Fatwa, why do Imams and Ayatollahs incite ordinary people into such frenzied aggression?

I have been studying Islam, Judaism and Christianity for about 20 years; and have come to understand a little of the evils of religion.

Each one blames the other for atrocities committed over the last 2000 years. The leaders have time and time again convinced their sheep-like followers that the other (even those of the same faith, but with an opposing doctrine) that their view has been God ordained and therefore, 'those that are not for us are against us' are only worthy of forced conversion, persecution, enslavement or death.

All those in religious or political power, will issue fatwas' to suit there own agendas. Most of the Arab world and Central Asia is made of tribes, who traditionally would follow with fierce loyalty, even to the death; the man who is the strongest, most charismatic, and often the most ruthless. That tribalism is still just under the surface. One only has to look at Afghanistan! They will unite only when a larger threat from outside, (the Greeks, the British, the Russians and now the Western Allies) overrides their hatred and contempt for one another.

Osama bin laden, the Ayatollahs of Iran, the Taliban, Hamas etc, use this underlying violence and cultural demand for revenge, which is so much a part of tribalism; mixed with a distorted yearning for Martyrdom and Islamic fanaticism. This is an incendiary brew.

Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot all used similar psychology to instil fear and xenophobic hatred in their Fatwas (propaganda) against whoever they wanted to control or exterminate.
Islam is more dangerous than all the above, because it able to unite hundreds of millions of people, the vast majority who are uneducated, living in poverty and oppression. The spirit of Islam unites under the illusions that it is the one true religion; and that Allah ordains that the infidel either converts or is enslaved or sent to hell.

However the West, especially the United States and Britain fan the flames of Islamic aggression and revenge by pretending to help the oppressed Iraqi, Afghani etc as an excuse to control Oil and militarily important areas of the Middle East and Central Asia. Islam also equates Western political, military and religious control with Christianity and Judaism.

The flash point for conflict is of course Palestine
/ Israel. The Jews were not a big problem to Muslims until they won back their Promised Land in 1948. Then the people of the book' became the arch enemy for every Islamic State, including those who were not Arab or even on the same continent! The surrounding Arab nations, Egypt, Syria and Jordan aided by Russia tried five times in less than 25 years to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

As conventional war has failed, terrorism, political and religious propaganda continues to make Israel
and the Jewish people the proverbial thorn in the flesh' for the rest of the world. Fatwas whether against individuals or whole nations is all part of the Islamic compulsion to take the world for Allah, with only Mohammed as his prophet. However the Jewish Problem' is at the heart of war against the West.

It is a tragedy that the vast majority of Muslims are the same as every one else, they just want to live in peace, work, bring up their children, and worship their God as they see fit. But the 1400 year desire for an Islamic world, has kept Muslims in fear, poverty and oppression, whilst blaming the West and especially Christendom for their parlous state. Sadly history tells us they are not completely wrong!

If the above seems to the reader that I am some nutty conspiracy theorist, then can I suggest you read as much history as possible, including the Bible and the Koran?

We live in the most dangerous of times, and the Fatwa is just one of many sparks that could ignite the powder keg.
