Gift cards are something that everyone enjoys. It is easy to get them and doesn't cost a lot of money. You could choose to get a gift card from almost anywhere. Think about the person, where do they shop, where do they like to shop, what do they usually buy? If you don't know the person very well or can't decide where to get a gift card for them you could always get a one from Target or Wal-Mart. You could also get a Visa gift card that they can use anywhere.
Make-up
While some make-up is expensive there is some that is cheap and works well. The goal is to buy every single piece of make-up cheap. Don't buy a $8.00 mascara because then you will only have $2.00 left over. Instead buy$2.00-$4.00 mascara so that you can buy a couple of other pieces of make-up as well. Another option is a make-up kit. I have bought this before and I have gotten these as gifts. They are a good gift and a cheap gift as well. These might be your best option when buying make-up because you get more in them most of the time.
Books
Once again some books can be a little pricy. Then again you can find some that are cheap. I recently bought my sister a book for Christmas and it was about $10.00. Just look around for books, and keep your eye out on the ones that are a little cheaper. It might be a good idea to know what types of books they read.
DVD's
These are something that can definitely get expensive. While most DVD's can cost you around $20.00 older DVD's will be cheaper. You could also buy used DVD's to save you some money, depending on whether or not you think the person will mind and how comfortable you are giving them something used.
Some other items you could buy for under $10 are clothes, shoes, scrap booking items, photo albums, candles, and gift bags. Just think about what the person likes.
Now let's talk about where to look for cheap gifts you can find under $10.00. When trying to buy Christmas gifts that are under $10.00 it would be a good idea to look at places that generally have cheaper things. Let's say you decide to buy a book, one place might have it for $25.00 and another place might have it for $10.00.
Dollar Store
You would be surprised at how many things the dollar store has that you could give as gifts. You could get everything there if you wanted to. The one that is the closest to me even has bags that I could use to put the gifts inside of it to give as a gift.
Goodwill
If you are someone that doesn't mind shopping in Goodwill you could find gifts to give in here as well. Once again this depends on how well you know the person and how comfortable you are giving used items.
EBay and Amazon
Both EBay and Amazon have some items pretty cheap. The only thing you need to watch is how much the shipping and handling is.
Avon
Avon has some good inexpensive make-up. I have bought from them quite a few times and I have been pretty satisfied with the products I have bought. You can even look for promotional codes to use with them when shopping; I have found quite a few codes for free shipping when you buy $10.00 worth of products.
