which, the aircondioning temperature control would cut of the compressor running, thus saving more fuel.

The forth tip is how we refuel our vehicle. In hot temperature areas, fuel evaporates quickly compared to colder regions. It is most practical to refuel your vehicle at half tank instead of empty. A wider space within the fuel tank would allow remaining fuel to evaporate faster, thus reducing fuel. Fill your tanks leaving only a required space within.

The fifth tip for us to look at would be the way we drive our vehicle. Revving the engine for fun is an unnecessary waste of fuel. At the same time, know your vehicle well. High speed driving would consume more fuel as the engine rpm has to work at a higher pace thus consuming lots of fuel. There is a range of speed with most car when the engin rpm is at it's most stable stage and optimum performance. This could be when we are driving at a constant speed of between 60 kmh to 90 kmh. Another value add of driving to conserve fuel is to reduce the frequency of changing gears.

Finally, the last tip is when we are going downhill or epproaching the traffic lights, we can actually set our gear to neutral. Of course, do not rev up the engine for fun. A neutral gear cruise for even fifty to a hundred metres do save some fuel.

These tips are cost effective and in fact, they are free. It is all up to us how we choose to use them and stretch our fuel dollar.
