Never A Tomorrow
I stand on my balcony gazing at the
beauty the sun gives the sky as it
began to rise, and as I'm standing
all alone I hear the faint call my
heart cries.
Reminding me of how I have lived
thirty-one years of my life based on
deception & lies.
There was never a tomorrow, for
my life was filled with only grief
& sorrow.
The never endings of yesterday's
would be my today's, and there
were mornings when I awake, that
I wanted to change my wrong
way's.
BUT THERE WAS NEVER A TOMORROW,
ONLY DAYS FILLED WITH YESTERDAY'S
THAT HELD GREIF & SORROW.
