Poetry: Lost dreams

by Jose Lopez

Created on: October 31, 2008

Last night I dreamed

of a beauty so decadent

Her fingers frail and thin

her lips, abundantly quaggy.

A waterfall, black of hair

steps of a beating lyre.

Held her hand

ethereal, ah smile.

I awake, disintegrates like sand.
