Atlanta Georgia is one of the biggest and most popular cities in the United States. With many businesses and hotels, as well as popular attractions and plenty of shopping, there are always things to do when visiting Downtown Atlanta. You will never be bored in this great city, whether you are just visiting or you live in or near Atlanta, you are bound to always find some sort of entertainment. If you have ever been to Atlanta, you know that the city never sleeps, you also know that navigation around the city can be kinda tricky and downright terrible at times. Any advise to give someone who is not familiar with driving around in such a large city, rent a hotel room downtown and you will find plenty of transportation to take you too and from places, most places you can walk to.

One of the most popular attractions in downtown Atlanta is the World of Coca-Cola, which the only place where you can explore the complete story, past, present and future of the world's best known brand. Here you can explore the Coke plant with a 4D theater, plenty of memorabilia and of course the popular tasting experience with over 70 different products to sample. Even if you are not a big fan of Coke, you are still bound to enjoy this lifetime experience. Its fun for the whole family and its definitely something that will never be forgotten. I myself have had the chance to experience a tour of the world of Coke, being a Pepsi drinker, and enjoyed every minute of it. With admission being a decent rate, it may not be a whole day experience, but its bound to keep you busy and very entertained for several hours.

Another great family attraction is the Georgia Aquarium, located close to the World of Coca-Cola, these two attractions can be combined together for a day of fun and excitement. The Aquarium in Atlanta is the world's largest aquarium with more than eight million gallons of water and more aquatic life than any other aquarium, with both fresh and marine water animals. Five spectacular galleries present five different habitats. Here you will find beluga whales, California sea lions, sea otters and African black-footed penguins, as well as being able to touch horseshoe crabs, sea stars, stingrays and shrimp. Guests walk through an acrylic tunnel, surrounded by water on three sides for a wonderful experience. Here is where you can experience many different species of aquatic animals, most you will never again have the chance to view. Take advantage of this great adventure, its both a great lifelong experience for children, as well as those adults who have no children. In Atlanta you will find something to do for everyone in your family. Ranging from young to older. You can get an inside tour of CNN, or visit the Children's museum of Atlanta, as well as visiting Six Flags over georgia, the Atlanta Zoo and several national museums that include the Martin Luther King Jr. National Museum and the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum. You can find anything from Arts and Culture, to shopping, to the popular nightclubs around town to keep you entertained while visiting Atlanta, be it just a day or a whole week. You are bound to have a lifetime experience while visiting downtown Atlanta.
