If you suffer from acne, you have probably spent a lot of time and money trying to find a way to clear up your skin. The good news is that it's not necessary to purchase expensive treatments in order to get great results. There are some inexpensive and convenient products available that are highly effective. Give these remedies a try, and learn for yourself how you can improve your skin without going broke.

1) Yogurt Mask - Yogurt contains lactic acid, and applying it to your face as a mask will sooth your skin, minimize pore size, and leave your face feeling tightened, yet soft. Apply 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt to your face and let it dry. After 10-15 minutes, rinse the mask off with cool water. You will notice an immediate improvement in the appearance of your skin.

2) Aspirin Mask - Try it and you will be a believer! Aspirin is Salycylic Acid, the same ingredient in many acne treatments. To make your own mask, dissolve 4-5 uncoated plain aspirin in a couple drops of water to make a paste. Then add 2 drops of honey or olive oil, and mix together. Apply this mixture to your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse off with water and follow with moisturizer. This treatment is amazing for clearing up acne and improving the condition of your skin. It may be unconventional, but it works!

3) Polysporin - You haven't been picking at your skin, have you? Well, if so, this treatment will heal your open blemishes in a snap. Apply Polysporin directly to the broken skin to alleviate redness and tenderness, and heal the problem areas of your face quickly.

4) Milk of Magnesia - Magnesium Hydroxide in the active ingredient in Milk of Magnesia, which acts as an absorbent and also has antibacterial properties. This product can be used as a mask, or as a primer under make-up. Milk of Magnesia applied to the face will keep shine away all day long. To use as a mask, apply a thin layer to face and wear overnight. As a make-up primer, apply a very small amount to face with a cotton ball after moisturizing. This will absorb excess oil and keep make-up looking fresh all day.

Healing your acne and improving your skin does not need to be complicated, or cost a fortune. All of these products are very effective in treating acne. The best part is that they are inexpensive and easy to find. All of these products are available at any drugstore. Keep an open mind and try these home remedies before wasting money on other acne products. You will be glad you did!
