Fragile child, how the tears do fall
standing alone with no one to hold you
poor child you've seen it all
does anyone even know what you've gone through?
your tiny voice cries out in fear
but no one comes your way
how you wish someone would hear
and take all the pain away
little child I cannot save you now
I can only hope that one day you will be free
I long to help but don't know how
for that little child has become a woman- me
