My heavy eyelids await the time,
When I can fall on the bed,
And pull your body into mine,
But restless thoughts enshroud my head.
Your body is still and I try not to stir,
Laying here quiet in my own little place,

So my thoughts leave my head and out into space.
Morning has broken and my head is sore,
From the thinking I have done,
Realizing that if I think anymore,
Nighttime would have already come.
