Siren Lullaby
Come to me and give you heart,
Listen to my song.
I'll soothe your weary nomad's soul and
Give you respite from the wrong.
I'm inspired by your inner muse,
One of torn dreams and the cruelty of the world.
A mythical being who understands your sorrow,
I drink your desperation cold.
Hold your breath now, my darling, and
Listen to my voice.
Your darkness grows nearer now,
Pulled by your fatal choice.
I want to feel your strength within,
An aphrodesiac to my soul,
But I find as I pull it out of you -
My song is too much of a lull.
