Fate of Dreams
Longing for freedom and rain,
Dropping an ocean gently upon city streets and
Halos of light glowing in a crystaline droplet.
In another day, another time -
When the fountain of youth kept dreams alive
And people dreamed of mermaids singing on the rocks, is where I long to be.
If dreams were money, I would have five million -
Five million raining over me, falling like the stars above me.
Tho' now I realize...
In this world, there's no time for dreaming.
I write my dreams upon lines, blurred with feeling,
Then they're put back into the box where I locked away my heart and soul.
Mayhap one day, Fate will be on their side and
They'll get their chance to shine.

A life full of vibrant dreams
Each day longed for the future
Reality's not what it seems
Long arduous
