On line dating can be fun. I signed up with one the other day just to get some information for an article. I filled out a hundred question questioner. I gave some outrageous answers and sat back to see just who would contact me. Well the very next day my email account was over run with winks and messages. I went back to the site to see who some of these men were that contacted me.

First of all they did not match me up with anybody that fit my ideal man. I got mostly old men looking for a tinder young thing.... for fUN and casual sex. I e-mailed each of them and told then that Iwas was looking for a committed relationship. Do you think they cared? Heck naw! They just wanted to meet me somewhere for drinks and casual sex. I tried to let them down gently, but some of them got belligerent and wanted to cuss me out. Others mainly the young ones were looking for a sugar mama! Ha Ha! Al-in-all it was fun for a day. Now things are beginning tosettle down. I am getting responces from men more on my own range... some of them pretty good looking.

Why would you even think that someone using the Internet to find love is on the up and up? People use of the Internet a ploy to hide behind a facad of secrecy. They use the internet to portray or invent a person that they want others to see. The process is fun enough, but i am a little gun shy. I do not know wether to trust this forum or not.

If you have chosen this forum to find Mr. Right then do yourself a favor and go the extra mile. Run a background check on anyone that you choose to date. If you do not you are seriously desperate for companionship. Life is too short to put your life on the line. Meeting people is a risk anywhere you meet them so why is the online dating service getting such a bad rap?

My advice to you is: To be on the safe side before you contact these persons seriously consider running that back ground check. If you like what you see then meet that person in a public place. Do not get overly intoxicated and have a good time. At this point still do not give up your personal information. Take your time feel them out... dating is a risky game to play wether it is on line or you meet someone in a night club. Take your time and then if you feel comfortable still take it slow. You will be able to pick up on habits that will tell you if there is any underlying secrets that must come out in the wash.

Make that first date one of caution. Before you leave to meet that person make it a point to let someone know who you are with and where you are going. Leave then a number to get in touch with you in case you do not check in on time. Take your cell phone and make periodic calls home to check in. Watch your back... be good and have fun.
