I'm Ready.

I've decided to give this "love" thing

one more try.

I'm Ready.

I want to put you in my life,

My heart in your hands,

And my soul in your heart.

I want to love you,

I want to miss you when you're gone,

And forgive you when you've done wrong,

I want THAT kinda love,

you know the one poets speaks of.

I'm Ready.

I want to count the seconds

Until I see you again,

And when we see each other

Start all over again,

Because then the seconds become

Light years of love that go on

Forever.

And I know that now

I'm Ready.

I decided to let you in,

Be your lover,

But also your friend,

Keep all your secrets,

And console you when you hurt.

I want to be the one

You thought you'd never have,

The one who makes you question

How you got this lucky,

I want you to feel my love

On the daily,

And when I'm not around

It makes you crazy.

I decided to flip all the pain,

And turn it inside out,

Until the happiness comes about,

Then give it to you each day.
