Well, let me put it this way. If one were to combine every single piece of literature written by man, the knowledge within couldn't even scratch the surface of what's to be revealed within the living word of God. This shouldn't even be debatable. And allow me to ask you this, O'man, "What do you consider to be REAL educational purposes?" For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. Soon enough, many will begin to understand the end of what's been destined to fade with the tides of time; For weak foundations have a tendency to crumble...
Take some time to thoroughly read the following:
Yet we do speak wisdom among those who are mature; a wisdom, however, not of this age nor of the rulers of this age, who are passing away; but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory; but just as it is written, "The things which the eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered into the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him." For to us God revealed them through His Spirit; for the spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God.Now we have received, not the spirit of this world, but the spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord that he will instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ (1Corinthians 2:6-16)
The point that I am trying to make, as a servant of Christ (Not a "modern-day Christian", mind you), is that the Bible is the only valid book that serves a real purpose to educating the modern soul. I am not easily deceived anymore; and you were asking, "educating the modern soul for what?" The Revelation of Jesus Christ- The completion and fulfillment of all things pertaining to this war. Go on, you were asking; "What war?"
And there was a war in heaven, Michael(AKA: Jesus Christ, the word of God) and His angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war, and they were not strong enough, and there was no longer a place found for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was the thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him...(Revelations 12:7-9)
And it is Lucifer, whose deception draws one to ponder and question, whether or not the Bible should be considered as a VALID BOOK FOR REAL EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. Like I said before, this shouldn't even be debatable. And yes, though we are few, we are still out there...
