Ajna means command, order, and direction. Taken from the Hindu Sanskrit, Ajna is known as the sixth sense, third eye or psychic perception. It is also connected to the 6th chakra, an energy center between the brows, on the forehead. Ajna, the energy center that spins in a counter clockwise motion from back to front in a three dimensional form, synchronizes with six other major chakras in the body. Because Ajna is located above the heart it is strongly connected to spirituality, higer self, creativity, and visualization. It is our communication with other dimensions, times, past, present, future and God.

To strengthen your Ajna you must continue with exercises that create sensory awareness by meditating, listening to spiritually sound music, and visualizing a dark blue color that is the color of your 6th Chakra. When your Ajna is strong you will be very sensitive to sound, colors, smells and certain vibrations or frenquencies around you. Your body will respond both in a positive light or not, depending on the light that radiates through certain elements around you. Dreams are associated with Ajna, the collective consciousness, and the dream world. Past lives, reincarnation and precognition are also known to associated with Ajna.

Other ways of strengthening your 6th chakra is to clear the energy centers in your body frequently, the way you would maintain a vehicle. Focus on positive thoughts, eath healthy, exercise, such as, yoga or dance movements, and visualize the colors of your chakras from the base of your spine up through the crown chakra. Each chakra has a color and Ajna is dark blue similar to the Lapis crystal. In fact, Lapis and dark blue crystals are very important to stimulating your chakra centers. Crystals are known to have elements that nourish the Ajna and heal the body. Crystals are rocks that are from Mother Earth and hold ancient secrets from thousands of years that go back before christ and are known to communicate with angels.

On the physical body, it is located on the Pituitary Gland, that which is associated with the mind, headaches, depression, and anxiety. When we repress our Ajna, or psychic perception, because we hold back on what we want or do not want to see we can encounter many physical ailments in these regions that relate to the mind. Painful memories, trauma, repressed emotions and denial of truth can affect our psychic perception and hinder our abilities to be in harmony with our true Self.

You can create affirmations to command your ajna to become strong by saying, "I, Ajna sixth sense, and psychic perception to be at its highest vibration and frequency." Because we are the commanders of our being we can command our mind, body and soul to work with, in harmony with our spirit. When mind, body and soul work together as one, then Ajna has the capabilities of going beyond what we see through our eyes, instead we see through our own psychic perception. The "Eye" of God.
