I would have to say that as an young adult education can change your life tremendously. I was always thought growing up that the only way you will survive in this life is by going to school learning knowledge about the world we live in today. You know what my parents was right. Now in an economy in which we call home now, more businesses want to see an applicant with a degree/certification. It gives the businesses type environment the sense of that the applicant knows what he or she is doing. It gives them the since of that they (business) don't have to spend much money on training and individual for the specific job at which is titled. I must say at the age of 23 years old I'm much happy in my life right now than I have ever been. I have a Bachelor's degree in Science of Criminal Justice and currently working on my Master's in Management. I use to go to job interviews before I joined the military looking for work the first thing they ask me was you have any post-secondary education. I told them nope, immediately in the back of my head I thought man I'm done. But now I go in and they ask if I have school I tell them (business) yes then I tend to stay longer to talk. Another reason why it is so important for adults to receive education is because most of us have kids and as our kids continue to grow we encourage them to go to college and make something of themselves. Question at hand, how can we as adults encourage our children to go to college when we haven't even done it ourselves? Thats amazing isn't it. We as adults and as parents need to set good examples for our kids. Challenge your kids in life and set the bar. After all their your kids and live under your guidelines. I have two and a half kids, six years old, one year old, and an unborn. I asked the Lord above to show me the way everyday for my children can be shown the way to success everyday. I also ask the "Father" to encourage me to work hard get up every morning and make my life a better living regardless of what I may do or say. To my fellow friends when we talk about adult education in any aspect we are talking about our kids, our lives, our beliefs, and our future. The world is in our hands right now (adults). It is up to us right now to make the change and pave the way for our future. I want to take this time right now to encourage each and every adult and parent out there right now to take a stand if you don't do it for me do it for your kids. Do it for the environment in which we live in today.
