Final Exam

According to (Ethics Applied Edition 5.0), pages 804, and 805 state the following: "Unfortunately, the following two sentences from the Sunshine Amendment (1976) in the Florida Constitution are not in the United States Constitution": "A public office is a public trust. The people shall have the right to secure and sustain that trust against abuse."

Is it unfortunate that the two above statements are not written in the United States Constitution? The short answer is no. Let me explain. Fortunately, we have a sound indoctrinated United States Constitution that was put together by God inspired men of great wisdom and integrity.

To live life of true leadership and character, certain qualities must be prevalent and evident in one's life. Some of these leadership qualities that are needed and desired are as follows: To live life above reproach, a life of utmost integrity and the use of great wisdom and discernment; loving and treating others as you would want to be loved and treated.

Although the founding fathers of the Constitution knew the up side about good qualities, they also knew the downside; that it was impossible to obtain perfection. The reality is this, we as humans are imperfect. People make mistakes no matter who they are. Whether the person is the President of the United or some back yard brick layer in West Virginia. We all make mistakes. Now, the differences between these two are simple; one is in the public eye at all times and is looked upon as perfect, and the other, no one cares about. In addition, there is one more difference. One chose to be in the spot light and the other chose not. Understand this, personal conviction and integrity is important in living a good moral life no matter who you are; and as humans, we need to aspire after such living.

But in the case of being the President of the United States of America, no mercy seems to be given when a sin is committed no matter how small or great. No matter the sin, the founding fathers of America knew what it took to be a leader and knew what it took to march forward and get something done. They also knew of the great challenges that would be faced in everyday living. They wrote a perfect constitution.

In the opening paragraph, it could be understood as this, the people of Florida run the officials around like puppets. I know that's the way I understand it. I think the older you get, the less judgmental you are. Well, Hopefully

What effect, in my opinion, would these two opening sentences
