Through marketplace I pass
every face turning in
noticed and questioned
a visually demanding din
escape, escape, escape
metropolis bliss
an unknown among a sea
of faces seen
each one different
but comfortable in a
blanket of humanity
cocooned
safe, safe, safe
among the flowing tide of anonymity
