The Wish
The storms rush in and
The boats crash upon the shore
How I wish for a Father's wisdom
The struggles mount and
I climb the highest mountain
How I wish for a Father's proud voice
Babies are ushered in and
Fill me with wonder
How I wish for a Father's conversation
My life is joy and sorrow, contentment
And laughter
How I wish for a Father's arms
My children fill me with their
Strength and beauty
How they also wish for a Father's song.

For the clear loving
