This is a poem that I would like to have adapted into a song very shortly for placement on what hope will be my debut vocal album....of course, as far as I know, these plans are not in place yet-but I write everyday hoping that someday someone with magic record reeling power will do a double take a redub of me over a currently well-known artist. It sure would be good to get to the top someday! "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..." :) Anyway, here's the poem. It is entitled Hold the Fire (Assess the Damage)
Hold the Fire (Assess the Damage)
Hold the fire right there and pull the wreckage
And quench the thirst of your fears
Evil apendage
And when the smoke from your eyes clears
Assess the damage
They hold the fire right there-strip off the bandage.
Better I go forward in time with the plans of my past,
And better I stand right in and bind with the contracts that last.
So better I come prepared and in wait for all positive things,
And better I know the acceptance of patience,
A puppet on strings.
I hold the fire right there
And claim inception
And quench the thirst of my fears
Undue perception.
And when the tears from eyes clear
Assess the damage
Please hold the fire right there
Not mine to manage.
I say better they know the truth of their matters
Just how invaded they are
And I say better my knowledge then theirs
to discern all possible scars.
And I say charity wins in a world of misfortune

Frustration
Few things get the best of me,
These days I live pretty leisurely,
Being retired and single, I do as I please,
She knows she must get out of bed
and pulls her eyes painfully to reality
She thinks about hurting herself
She needs a wound
Something
by Jannah Mosi
Ugg I'm so! Mad
I could kick over this and push that
And cut this
Urghhh!
In my dreams I see his face
His movements are like liquid grace
His voice is calling out my name
In my heart I long
Silent Bonds
What quietness is this that exists to torment my soul,
That you readily provide me with?
How am I to evaluate
