How about Sean "Diddy" Combs and his lame statement that he is "scared" of Palin? Isn't he some tough-guy rapper whom the Devil himself does not frighten? Or is it that she is a woman of faith that does scare the Devil out of Diddy. Sean, do us all a favor and stay underneath the covers for the rest of your career! Besides, are you advocating for "boys" and girls", i.e., children, to have the vote?

And to top it off, Democratic Florida Representative, Alcee Hastings, warned two minority groups to beware of Sarah Palin because "anybody toting guns and stripping moose don't care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks." Where did that logic come from!

The women on the popular ABC show, "The View" also cannot stand Governor Palin. Thank you, Elisabeth Hesselbach, for standing your ground against those vitriolic, narrow-minded women. I am surprised you have lasted this long on this left-wing show. Notice how they treat the Obamas in comparison to the McCains?

Is it because Governor Palin is not a Democrat? Is this her big crime for which they feel she should be locked away forever or possibly even worse punishment is due her? Or, is it because many people do not understanding hunting.

My husband and I hunt. I have helped him skin game. I cook it up and serve it to us and to our guests, with rave reviews. Guess what? Venison, elk, and moose, are so much healthier for you than beef. This meat is extremely lean and, field dressed properly and cooked correctly, it is superbly delicious. Democrats, Republicans, and independents of every sort are among this nation's hunters.

What happened to tolerance of other people's viewpoints on all issues? If I do not agree with a person of left-wing ideology, I do not have the right to trash that person. My are manners? We cannot reach compromise if we cannot have a civilized dialogue with each other. Not all Christians hold the same views on abortion, the death penalty, and a wide range of other topics. So, we would not expect the greater public to hold homogenous opinions either. But, we must be able to carry on civilized discourse with each other. It is called "respect."

Governor Palin has nothing but nice things to say about Hilary Clinton, who made 18,000,000 cracks in the glass ceiling of the Vice Presidency. We need to be supporting other women who have made it to the top, whether it is in the corporate world or in the political world. We women don't need to be each other's worst enemies.

We can differ on ideology. We cannot, however, afford to stamp out freedom of speech; apparently many people feel threatened by Sarah Palin and would like to stamp out her right to free speech. Governor Palin privately may be against the current abortion law, does she not have the authority to overturn Roe V. Wade. This vitriolic treatment of Sarah Palin (especially by other women) needs to stop.

We need a return to manners and civility, lest we have a total anarchy in this country. That is what we are headed for if we listen to the likes of Bill Ayers.
