Absolutely, The Bible should be a valid book for real educational purposes simply because it is "real education" in the raw! What I mean is that it starts with the beginning of "All" and ends with the "End of All" and all the books in between are testimonies about life's real lessons. Sure the time and locations are different. But, back then, and even still today, we all still seek answers about life. We all wonder about God, what we should do in our situations, how we should handle certain things, and we wish, pray and yearn for, for the "real" something we can use that is not fake or phoney or something that is simply just ridiclous. We all seek daily for the wisdom to show up and identify itself to us. Some of us pay top dollar for advice that does nothing for them but, make them think even deeper or harder until we finally find someone in our past or our present who we can share the blame entirely, or some of it, so we won't go totally insane over the choices and decisions we have made.
Having the Bible weaved into our minds from our youth through college life, we would be more able and equiped to handle life's very challenging problems. From youth, through the to the time we set foot in the real world, from college, we would know more of what is expected, what we should be doing and how to handle certain things that come in our lives. Even if your choice is not be a Christian, you can still take away the experience from the real life experiences in the Bible and you can apply it to your life. Also, given a chance, and spending a little of your time, you can gain some wisdom from the knowledge you have taken.
Some know, but, very few realize that we can only receive wisdom from God. Without the knowledge of the testimonies in our past history we have no foundation to view, analzye and compare to our own identity and life's problems. Today, we all have way too much information on everything. We have the internet with all of its vast arrays of information about this and that and the other things and what we fail to realize is that all we have is information. We still lack the wisdom that helps us to understand and how to apply it in our own lives.
When we focus too much on gathering all this information all we do is build libraries in our minds. We still lack the widsom of what to do with what information we have acquired. We still don't know what to do and how to solve the problem we face and we even make it worse because we trick ourselves in to thinking that this information is really "knowledge". But, what we really need is "wisdom" the thing we really need and the only thing that will heal that wound.
Our education system needs a diversity driven upgrade. If we would allow the Bible into our educational system, knowledge would give birth to wisdom and would be planted in the hearts of our children from early on. They would play peacefully and joyfully as children should do. Young men and women would respect themselves and their elders. Men and Women love each other and think of their neighbor as their own family and we would all be in harmony with one another. The beautiful possibilities would be endless. We would be the dream, the vision, the idea that our Creator had planned originally.
